Times When Social Media Encourages Insensitivity

#PrayForParis. πŸ™

This was all it took for a social media wildfire to start. I keep asking myself why things have to get so twisted on social media… *sigh*

I totally agree that the media πŸ“ΊπŸ“» was giving unfair coverage to the Paris tragedies and i sympathize and pray for other affected countries, but
still, does that make the Paris tragedy less tragic?

It’s like saying: ‘Oh. The international media is being partial to the French, so I’m not gonna pray for them’. And later you’ll say you’re a Christian. Smh.

The most shocking 😲 post for me was one that ‘reminded’ us about how the French colonized Africans and used African women for anatomy lessons.

REALLY?? I guess we should cut βœ‚ off all relations with the British and Americans then, seeing as their ancestors enslaved us. What manner of thinking is this?!

To some, the hashtag (#PrayForParis) is just a trend. Heu! I pity you.
MLKJ said “Injustice somewhere is a threat to justice everywhere. I therefore say, “Terrorism somewhere is a threat to peaceful living everywhere.

Let’s look at the bigger picture and combat terrorism as much as we can. And if we must pray, LET US DO.

Please tell me your thoughts on this issue in the comment box below. 😊 Thanks.

Apt! We need to remember to pray for peace everywhere. Terrorism in one nation encourages terrorism and conflict elsewhere.
